  Summary: The role is required to manufacture components from composite materials which meet engineering and quality standards.  This role will be required to work night shift Monday to Friday. Main Responsibilities and Tasks: - Manufacture broadcast components from carbon fibre. - Use processing equipment to infuse and machine. - In-process testing to maintain quality standards. - Carry out planned maintenance. - Suggest and implement continuous improvement ideas. - Work in line with environmental, health and safety site requirements.   Knowledge and Skills: Essential: - An experienced mechanical assembler who has worked in a mechanical device production environment, minimum 5 years' experience. - Knowledge of manufacturing carbon fibre composites - Able to read mechanical engineering drawings. - Well organised, adaptable, and quick to learn new processes, with the ability / experience to complete documentation and reporting if required. - Quality focused with good trouble shooting skills. - Self-motivated with the drive and enthusiasm to get things done. - Ability to work autonomously and a strong team player with a 'can do' attitude and a flexible attitude to helping in all areas when required, with a willingness to work additional hours when required at short notice. Desirable: - Formal training on KUKA robots - Operated vacuum resin transfer moulding (VRTM) processing equipment.   Education and Qualifications: Essential: - GCSE English and Maths ? Role Summary: The role is required to assist the paint shop team leader to achieve the daily/ weekly goals within the paint shop, ensuring processed parts meet engineering and quality standards.  Main Responsibilities and Tasks: - Carry out all tasks required within the Paint shop area with the required training and supervision (Powder Coat Prep & Spray, Masking, Anodising, Chromate, Rumbling, Pad Printing, Laser Engraving and Wet Spraying). - Assist in maintaining and adhere to specific H&S standards and requirements. - Flexibility to help ensure focus on weekly build requirements are achieved. - Identify Scrap/return to supplier to Team Leader prior to processing. - Ensure Quality standards meet current company objectives. - Help achieve 5S in Paint Shop area. - Help Identify solutions to problems and opportunities for improvement. - Work with the other team members to create a cross functional and productive team. - Help ensure that the correct processes/procedures for the area are followed. - Strive to help Team hit area's goals and targets. - Help to correct documentation to enable work in area to be done to a consistent standard.Good computer knowledge Knowledge and Skills: Essential: - Ability to use own initiative to address problems and present solutions. - Professional approach. - Team skills. - Excellent communication skills. - Basic understanding Microsoft Word/Excel & Outlook.
